With more than 25 years of experience in the mental health field, Tamar is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity, resilience, and emotional well-being. As a Registered Social Worker and psychotherapist, she provides a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop insight, and create meaningful change.
Tamar’s approach is grounded in Attachment Theory and integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based strategies, and emotionally focused interventions. She believes that relationships, past experiences, and core beliefs shape how individuals see themselves and interact with others. Together with her clients, she works to understand these patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, improve communication, and foster healthier relationships.
Throughout her career, Tamar has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem concerns. She also has significant experience supporting couples struggling with conflict, disconnection, trust issues, and communication challenges. Her goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward creating more fulfilling and authentic lives.
Tamar believes that meaningful change occurs within the context of a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. Whether clients are facing a difficult life circumstance, struggling in their relationships, or seeking personal growth, she is dedicated to helping them build the insight, skills, and confidence needed to move forward.
